Lucky

I'm working on a poster for the scout auction. So far it has been a lot of fun doing this illustration. Now it just needs some type and finishing touches and we are good to go.

Sketch

This afternoon I felt like making a sketch. It turned out to be a skull which are awesome! Then I water colored it and scanned it in to the computer. After that started making changes in photoshop, making it dark and grungy. It really seemed a lot easier after trying it this way.

Quick Head Drawing

This was a ball point pen drawing of a young man at church. Later on I had been given some watercolors and decide to give them a try and it was a lot of fun.

A family in my ward had seen me doing some caricature while sitting in my ward and they asked if I could do a drawing of there child. At first it was going to be in the style of a caricature but in the end they wanted something more realistic so they gave me a photo to use for the charcoal drawing. They also wanted it to be smaller somewhere around 5" tall but I ended up making the drawing much larger, closer to 16" tall. Now it is framed and hanging in there child's room and it looks great.

This caricature was a lot of fun. It's of my nephew Ethan and in the reference photo he was just starting to walk while holding on to the table

Matt's Wedding Gift

A caricature of my friend Matt and his future wife. It is for a future wedding gift. This was a first try at doing digital caricature.

Thanksgiving Flyer

A flyer I did for our church event just before thanksgiving. At the event we had those willing church members get up and do a talent and there also were tables to show off crafts people had done.
