A friend of ours commissioned a painting done by me and the nice thing was I got to paint what ever I wanted. I also knew they would like a seascape with a ship. I couldn't bring myself to put the ship in the painting. So this was there finished painting.

Everybody in New York loves it but I think I am going to have to have you paint another one for Nickie of a beach, lighthouse and ship or she might try to "lose it" in the next move. I really like it without the frame but wonder what it would look like with. Maybe for the next one I could convince you to do an engraving? I forgot how awesome your bfa show was till I looked back at it.
